culture and communication

This morning we were acting like we were in a different country(Brazil). We had to talk to this one clerk at the front desk to give us a room,however, the clerk that was at the desk couldn't speak any English. We were trying to ask the clerk for a room by using our hands. It was very hard. I think im goin to have a hard time trying to do ths stuff for real..Lol
